EUR/USD 4- Hour chart analysis

EUR/USD is testing the critical upper resistance of its five-week consolidation range at 1.1250–1.1260 following a strong multi-candle 4-hour rally and an earlier break above its September descending trendline, with buyers having successfully absorbed selling pressure via a liquidity sweep down to 1.1115–1.1140. While short-term momentum favors the upside as the daily RSI pushes bullishly above 50, the current 4-hour candle is displaying an upper wick directly at resistance, meaning a decisive close above 1.1265 is required to confirm a breakout toward 1.1370–1.1380; otherwise, rejection at this ceiling will trigger a mean-reverting pullback toward the 1.1200 pivot and the broader 1.1140 range floor.

EUR/USD Daily Chart Analysis

EUR/USD has transitioned from an impulsive sell-off into an accumulation phase, currently testing the upper boundary of a five-week consolidation range around 1.1245- 1.1260. With price pressing against the range ceiling via consecutive bullish candles and the 14-period RSI recovering cleanly above the neutral 50 line, near-term momentum clearly favors the buyers.

EUR/USD Daily chart

A daily close above 1.1260 would confirm a structural breakout from this base, opening an upside path toward prior breakdown resistance at 1.1370- 1.1375 and the 1.1400 handle. Conversely, if sellers defend this overhead supply zone, the pair will remain range-bound, likely triggering a mean-reversion pullback toward intermediate support at 1.1200, with deeper downside buffered by the primary support floor near 1.1120.
